The ring consists of a premium Blue Nile stone set in a setting that was custom made by a leading San Francisco jeweler. I have all the documentation, including GIA certificates.

The GIA certificate reads “excellent” on polish and “very good” on symmetry.

The setting: A classy X-prong platinum ring with 5 graduated, channel set diamonds on each side of the main diamond, for a total of 0.5 carats more. (Yes, there is a lot of diamond in this ring!) I think the ring is sized for a 5 or a 6 but any jeweler should be able to resize it for you.

I bargain hunted and paid about $13,000 for the diamond and the setting (Blue Nile had very competitive prices) – it’ll probably get appraised for more than $15,000. Am willing to sell for $7,500 in cash, which is an enormous discount and a better deal than even the wholesale prices! If you wish to buy only the Blue Nile diamond, I’d be happy to sell you that for $7,000 (cash only).

The attached pictures don’t really do the ring justice but should give you an idea of the design and the setting. This is a stunning piece of jewelry so please be serious and please do not negotiate.
